We’re looking for someone with a journalistic background and first-class copywriting skills to join our PR and Communications team. We need someone who’s confident, eloquent, self-sufficient and able to seek out unique angles to stories and campaigns that set us apart from the competition.
A job of two halves
You’ll be responsible for delivering a programme of engaging news content to put out across all our media channels. You’ll also work with our pre-contracts and bid teams to create a library of project case studies and supporting evidence to inform our future bids.
Travelling to our sites to conduct interviews, shoot videos and take photos. We need someone creative, with exceptional writing skills and the ability to self-edit.
Managing the ‘Wiki'
Using your content to its maximum benefit by managing a smart content library. We need someone organised, so that when we come to bid our next big contract, we can access the evidence to support what we say.
Owning our online presence
Working on our website and social media channels, you’ll grow our audience and drive engagement. We need someone who’s able to craft content for a range of platforms and audiences.
As well as maintaining our external presence, we’ll also need you to help keep our staff engaged, predominately through the company intranet, but also through regular events and focus weeks.
First Class Copywriting Skills
We’ll need you to take technical engineer-y speak and translate it into plain English.
We produce our content in-house, so photography and video skills are essential, along with a keen eye for detail.
We use an open source CMS on our website and intranet that you’ll learn to use on the job. If you’re tech savvy, you’ll pick it up in no time.
